We believe good governance includes not only the government sector but all relevant actors from the private sector and society. To prevent civilian crisis madiba's experts take economic, social, political and increasingly also environmental factors into consideration.
Commissioned by the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), madiba's experts support decision-makers, governments and institutions on a local, national and supra-regional level in Africa and beyond.
Aiming to improve citizens' access to public services and political participation we especially focus on partner countries and organisations in North and West Africa and the Middle East.
Before the outbreak of COVID-19, we had already started to digitalize parts of our consultancy services. In doing so, we could constantly improve our digital toolbox for blended workshops and virtual conferences while ensuring that the quality of our advisory service is not compromised.
In fragile contexts our teams of national and international madiba consultants have proven to adapt to changes quickly and to work, both analogue and digitally.
Together with the Indonesian government and in strong collaboration with the planning ministry BAPPENAS, an ASP Roadmap is ultimately developed, outlining a strategy on how to operationalize ASP for the country.
