In 2017 and 2018 Madiba Consult has supported the Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) in providing trainings on Development Policy – the UN Agenda 2030, its background, contents and implementation.
This training reached out to mainly GIZ experts and projects managers in international cooperation. It focused on how international projects can help to support the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development transforming our world. Practical examples from current development projects underlined the importance of the UN Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals and its 169 targets. Participants experienced how the Agenda can be recognized and implemented as a plan of action for people, the planet and global prosperity.
The training empowered project responsible persons from GIZ and other important development organizations to play an active role in shaping changes and to make knowledge on the available globally.
